Our Story

The story of how MySherri™ came to be stems from the life-changing experience our founder Ashley, a busy physician, had when she realized that she couldn’t do it all. Balancing long workdays, school, and family obligations took all of her energy, and the limited time she had at home was filled with household chores rather than spending quality time with her husband. Ashley was lucky to discover Sherri and hired her to simply prepare meals and manage the laundry, but she quickly realized she could handle so much more. Soon enough, she became an extension of Ashley’s family…and the rest is history!

As a busy professional herself, Ashley started this company because she knows the pain and stress of trying to balance long workdays, education, and family obligations. She also knows that asking for help can be hard. That’s why we employ and deploy an excellent in-home workforce for the busy, ambitious professional who needs help but doesn’t know how to ask for it. We want to NORMALIZE getting support in the home while reducing the shame and guilt associated with asking for help while also empowering our home coordinators to achieve their own balance by offering salaries, paid time off, extensive training, and other benefits. 

Built by women for women, MySherri™ believes that home should be a place where you go to recharge and that you should be free to spend time with the people and projects that matter most. Our vision is to be the world’s most intuitive provider of home solutions and to create a place that is carefree and rejuvenating by redefining home as a destination, not a chore.

We aim to empower our MySherri team by creating a culture that supports them to achieve balance by providing autonomy, flexibility, and trust. We seek to create and maintain positive relationships within our communities by always doing what is right.

We also believe that our Home Coordinators are the core of our service and should be given every opportunity for growth, respect, and balance. We see ourselves as an agent of change, helping people understand that time is precious and it is ok to ask for help.
