1. House Cleaning versus Home Maintenance
When a housekeeper comes into your home, they are focused on one job: cleaning. They aren’t worried about the other tasks like laundry, appointment scheduling, pet care, and more. While having your house clean can be a great feeling, there are still other priorities lingering that need to be addressed—that’s where MySherri comes in.
When MySherri comes into the home, our Home Coordinators (HCs) work on a task list provided by you, focusing on comprehensive home maintenance and management. While our Home Coordinators care for the home, the advantage to MySherri is that we act as your home’s project manager, taking care of all of the tasks and priorities that are important to you. Need someone to water your plants? Done. Want your HC to meal plan for the week? No problem. Need help doing the laundry every week? You’ve got it. We keep your house running like a well-oiled machine. As the task list changes, the price does not, so If you have a task you want done, throw it on your task list because we are here for you.
How exhausting is it to come home from a long day of work and still have to cook dinner for yourself and your family?
Housekeeping services don’t offer cooking services at all. The majority of the time, housekeepers only focus on light cleaning. A big way MySherri differs is through our nutrition services. Our Home Coordinators can meal plan, grocery shop, and prepare meals that suit your family’s needs, including those with allergies or preferences. The best part? If you make it a priority on your task list, nutrition services are included in your package.
Can you imagine walking into your home smelling food already on the stove? Or taking a break from work to get lunch and realizing you already have lunch ready to go in the fridge? Having a helping hand to meal plan, grocery shop, and cook can make all the difference during the week.
3. Pet Care
Depending on your housekeeper, pets can either be a pleasure or a nuisance. Some love having your pet’s company while working while others avoid your pets at all costs. Most don’t include pet clean up as a part of their cleaning services.
MySherri believes that your pets deserve love and attention, too! If you have animals at home and need help with cleaning up after them (including hair clean up), walking them, or stocking food, we can help!
4. Personal Assistance
MySherri can act as an assistant, helping you with everything from event planning to travel planning to mailing or picking up packages. If you’re too busy to make an appointment to fix your broken washer (and be home during the appointment), we’ve got you covered. We can call maintenance to come in for whatever need you might have! This is a big difference between MySherri and a housekeeping service; we go above and beyond the surface of your home.
Our Home Coordinators pride themselves on providing relief for our clients. A housekeeper will take care of the cleaning you need done, but MySherri will be there for you as support throughout your home.
